Researchers at Monash University have developed a diet to manage the gastrointestinal symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This app will guide management of IBS symptoms by restricting foods high in the group of carbohydrates ...
I use this ap all the time and it has been a lifesaver I hope Monash will continue updating the database particularly for foods found outside of AustraliaNew Zealand eg tomatillos                 Huge help
Does not give you enough information to determine if ingredients in food items are FODMAP compliant For example my whole grain gluten free bread contains teff sorghum baking soda etc when the ingredients are not available per this app then you cannot determine So while it is useful I feel it is of limited use        Not enough content
This is a very informative databased resource that gas helped me tremendously Especially useful when traveling The app could do more but it is well designed I particularly like the portionbased traffic light rating system                 Lifesaver
I have IBS and is trying out the god map diet Hopefully it will save me from flare up Thank you for making this app                 Thank you
I appreciated the older version I updated my software just so I could upgrade this app and now it shows me nothing It closes me out every time I open it I am not very happy I was looking forward to see what other foods they added to their list This diet has helped me feel better but the app stinks right now     What happened
I dont usually spend much for apps but when I do I expect it to be rather special For the price this is a great disappointment Limited list of FODMAP foods diary forces you into their format and then you cant see results etc I would like my money back        Disappointed
Good so far has lots of foods but there could be more Im in the US Im hoping more food will be added as time goes on It would be nice if you could add your own food as well as set up your own green light system for all the food listed I have IBS so all dairy is off limits and I would like to filter it all instead of just high lactose dairy Also the diary should have full customization abilities We should be able to put down any recipe or meal we eat instead of the preloaded ones I have a different budget different tastebuds than whats in these recipes        Good but just a start
I have been using this app for several months and it has made my life much easier I can check foods when I am shopping eating at a restaurant anywhere The app is very easy to use and understand Incredibly user friendly Thank you so much for creating such a great app                 Love this app
At first it seemed a bit pricy but this app is well worth the 999 The Fodmap guide is well layed out and informative The recipies are numerous and appetising and the features of this app are quiet brilliant You can browse the recipies which are catergorised and easily accessible and then add the ingredients you need to your shopping list There are great filters to star the foods you are sensitive to and foods you like This is the best diet app I have ever seen I have bought many and this one does everything perfectly 5 stars to the makers of this                 Brilliant App
This is seriously a great app VERY thorough Skip the books this app cuts right to the chase                 Amazing app
I used this app during the elimination phasechallenge phase of the lowFODMAP diet A year later I STILL refer to it It is easy to use Imagine walking through the grocery store and looking at labels it is SO frustrating to have to guess Now you can just open the app and type in the foodingredient to search The traffic light system makes it easy to see which how damaging that food could be for each individual                 worth the money
While it isnt comprehensive I find the list of foods very helpful I especially like that it gives you permitted amounts              Helpful
I use this app multiple times every day Even though its not the most comprehensive it helps cover most basic and intermediate knowledge The recipe suggestions are helpful and Im still reading through the provided guide The cost is large for an app but its less than half the cost of most diet books and its searchable and contains a handy shopping list Highly recommended                 Solid app
Its great if youre only researching whole foods I think the food database should be expanded to specific products as well It makes this app very limited This could be great But for the money it costs it needs to be better and more complete        Eh
There is no way to print or export the shopping list If the list is long like for multiple mealsdays it becomes unwieldy              Shopping list
I use this while grocery shopping and also when trying to figure out what food may have caused a flare It helps to keep me focused on eating the right foods              A handy reference
This app is very elementary Easy to pull up on phone while grocery shopping or eating out but not a very extensive list Also since it did not originate in the US many of the foods are unfamiliar Keeping the diary is not user friendly either        Needs improvement
This is an extraordinarily helpful resource and one of the few places to find all of this info categorized in such useful ways Would love to see the following additions 1 Number of grams of various sugars in each listed serving since for me the problem is of a cumulative nature I need to be aware how many grams of fructose for example that Im ingesting if I eat a dish that combines multiple ingredients 2 A mechanism for suggestingrequesting analyses of additional foods that are not currently included in the application such as millet unsweetened almond milk bamboo shoots etc              Great resource but could improve with more info
I agree that Australian jargon makes this app challenging for American user I found the app useful to some extend It does help to have a list of foods for cooking from scratch handy I didnt like the diary because it offered only a preset list of symptomssome of mine were omitted Besides having the menu to choose from may be helpful for some but for those of us who dont have a personal chef it is annoyingI had to type my meals in           Somewhat helpful
Since so many of us in the US are using your app in a future update it would be terrific to see grams as well as ounces for fat fiber etc that you currently have It would just make fiberfat goals simpler to track Great app              Ounces to Grams Please
I just purchased the app but cant open it on my iPhone 4 They should make it clear before you buy this app that it wont work on older iPhones Poor design     Not compatible with iPhone 4
Looking up American foods is challenging They call cookies and crackers biscuits and so many foods are left out so you dont know if they are good or bad Bottom line WAY TOO MUCH to pay for an app that is only a fraction of help     Limited information
Dont waste your money     Conflicts w book
This is the best app available so far to identify problematic foods Its pretty easy to Google unfamiliar Australian terms and learn the American term                 fodmapper
Attempt 3 at writing this review Bottom line I am so thankful for this app It has been a life changer Glad to pay for it to help fund more research                 Love the update
This app is completely useless for the common person Not even remotely enough material to be helpful Basic things such as flour ketchup kielbasa and dressings are unavailable There are an unbelievable amount of conflicts Being in the US Doesnt help since they have different names for everything Unless you live your life eating nothing but unseasoned meat fruits and veggies youre going to waste your money     Useless
Im buying the app to help support research and education Keep the app updates coming to reflect your most current work                 Support
This app is super useful for trying to remember all the foods that are high low in FODMAPS I like that you can also filter the foods according to your sensitivities However it would be nice if the app listed ingredients for the prepared foods such as muesli and the different types of bread what the heck is the difference between brand 1 and 2 or spelt sourdough As a user who is American Im not familiar with many of these foods Overall a great app and if they keep updating it Id say its worth the 10              Love the redesign a few suggestions
Dont waste your money This app crashes every time you try to search a food There is no way to know how much good information might be here since you cant access it Wait before you spend your money Hopefully they will fix the bugs     Crashes
This is a base line and you have to do your own work to see you tolerances but it gives you a good guide and it a tremendous help                 Love the app
This app offers priceless reliable portable info for people who need to avoid FODMAPs Worth every penny Americans will need to translate a few Australian references but Im totally willing to do it because the info is so important to me Im very thankful for this app                 The most reliable info
I will be requesting a refund as I dont feel this app is worth the cost I was hoping for more detailed information such as product names etc        I was hoping for more
Best tool for safe foods and serving sizes but I do wish the update for iPhone would come already Most of the negative reviews are from people who do not understand how to use the app For example its not going to list proteins because they are a not a fodmap They are only carbs It only list items that Have been tested and is increasing all the time                 Thankyou
There really needs t be a way to track your diet on multiple devices           Need an Account Settings
As I have been trying to work the FODMAP diet into my life I have found this app helpful but it has some lacking functionality Specifically the food diary requires you to eat only the recipes they have in the app I dont want to just eat your recipes let me make my own out of the ingredients in the database Without this feature the food diary and challenge features are useless to me I will say the app has a ton of great information and has really helped me understand what I can and cannot eat and also how much of things is Ok Please keep up the good work and keep improving the app           Helpful reference
This app is very informative about low FODMAPS but the food list is very limited Would be nice to have updates with more simple foods           Needs more food listings
This was definitely not worth it Even general things like flour that I wanted to search were not therevery disappointed     A no go
This is a very pricy app so I expect to see more extensive food list on this app otherwise I can just go to free website and look at the low fodmap food there Another thing that is not practical is you limit everything in one portion like sugar is safe for 1 table spoon Its better if you show the ceiling limit Even though I want money back as I find its not worth purchasing this app at this moment but Im hoping for the outlook and more research on more food        Not enough list
This app is magnificent It has saved me so much money stress and time It makes food shopping and going out to eat INFINITELY easier I cant say enough good about it                 INCREDIBLE
I like the concept of labeling foods with color code But its all based on quantity Once you exceed the serving theres a FODMAP warning in fine print Those foods should be marked as Orange Otherwise if people dont go beyond the list they will be eating FODMAPs        Coding system needs improvement
The low FODMAP diet SAVED my stomach and I cannot thank the researchers at Monash University enough for the work they have done This app is a huge help when grocery shopping I live in the US and works just fine and it is cool to see different names for some of the foods I never go shopping without it                 Amazing App
Love the easy referrals of food traffic lights Recipes are also a great help However sometimes some ingredients are not available that I must tweak the recipe a bit of course still using the fodmap traffic light system And its a bummer that there isnt place for me to note down all of these adjustments in the diary section Alsoits definitely one of the more pricey Apps out there           Great App but
I paid 999 US for this app less than a year ago and now it will no longer update unless I pay another 250 for a new iPod Its a shame because the app was quite useful and would be more useful if I could update it     Cant update
This app was just okay before the latest iOS update The downside was that it did not offer a rating for all of the foods I eat But now that I updated my IOS it wont let me search for any food I can only go through the whole list and look for my food I cannot search by keyword because the app automatically shuts down For 10 bucks its pretty disappointing     problems
This could easily be a 5 star ap It really helps to have something that instantly tells you if the food is good for you or not in terms of FODMAP sensitivities whether you are on internet or not The only reason why it is not a 5 star is that Monash never ever updates the foods on the list This is weird because they are always testing new foods and retesting old ones It is a relatively pricey AP but no updates What gives           Never Updates
Would have been 4 stars but search crashes app under iOS 7        Fix search
However I have discovered that these are based on the food in Australia and while a majority are the same the May be listed under a different name or if its a produced food like sauces and such they are not always made the same as they are in other countries so you have to be careful of the sauces and processed foods Otherwise a great app and a excellent place to start it has lots of info and able to explain FODMAPs in detail which is great if u dont have full understanding or need to show someone else              Very well written and lots of info
Super convenient to use while shopping or eating out                 Very helpful
This app is not worth the money The recipes are few and very basic It is ridiculous to include instructions for preparing cornflakes Although the info on Fodmaps is good it can be obtained on the web or in Shepards Low FODMAP Recipe book     Save your money
Okay its okay I cant set my sensitivities I cant have a drop of dairy any dairy on top of the fodmap diet I think my dr is trying to starve me The recipes are well I dont have time to make a lunch like that I have time to make a simple sandwich But if you wanna look up a food this app will work I dont think its for me waisted my money        Okay okay
