KETV - Nebraska and Iowa breaking news and weather

I always use channel 7 for all news weather updates and alerts This update is the worse Ive seen It is user unfriendly completely confusing the alerts that come in are never updated I only keep the app for the alert noise so I know something is happening     Horrible

The old version was perfect in every way very easy to see and navigate The new version is very hard to read stories and navigate from one to the next Please bring back the old version     Old version vs new version

There was very little wrong with the old appbut the new one is horrid Its intrusive dropping multiple unwanted and underwhelming headlines onto my login page then opening the app when I sign in Pleasedont try to force me into reading something just because you can Then it wont reorient from portrait to landscape on my iPad And its far harder to find the weather than it used to be I want KETV weather without having to download yet another new app In short KETV outsmarted themselves by turning a reasonably good app into a very bad one Give us back the old oneor Ill drop KETV from my installed apps altogether     Annoying replacement for a good thing

This app is amazing whether I need to know what the weather is like or the latest news story its all here in this app I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs local information the top news stories local and worldwide or even real time weather radar and real time reports                 This app is great I use it everyday

Loved the site before the upgrade hate it now go back to the old site I am looking for a different site because of the changes     Lynette

This used to be a great app It was functional and useful This new one is beyond junk I think the ones giving it a 5 star must be working for app creator I wish I could give it a 5 star Will alert you 5 times for same junk story that should not be an alert by any means then you have to wade through the massive amount of adds to find story which will say it is live but dont count on it The weather app was way better on old version I hate this app so much it is just junk     Current version is horrible

I used to like the KETV app As a native of Nebraska who now lives in Iowa but returns to the Omaha area frequently I greatly liked to keep up on news from that area The comments also were quite interesting The new app is AWFUL KETVs sister station also has the same app and it is awkward and cumbersome to use Please change to something more user friendly show comments againquite entertaining at times     New KETV App

Update 9215 Too confusing After all these years of being a faithful ketv fan I have finally deleted the app I hate this app I dont know why they did an update This new app is not user friendly and so confusing I still havent figured out how to navigate this thing and read the news I love ketv but this app will make me switch to channel 6 news or 3 because I dont watch the news I read the news on my app Please fix this ketv     Use to love ketv

Even after the update Im still not impressed Its too cluttered and not very well organized I liked the video that they made regarding the navigation but still not liking this new app Go back to the old app please     Still not worth it

This updated app is crap I use to log into ketv several times a day and now its only once a week at the most Completely unorganized looks like a jumbled mess doesnt seem to bring up the story ur reading and is so confusing Will be deleting it soon There is no need to have it when I refuse to use it     Awful

I find that the unlike before I have to scroll past the how to screen The fact that you have to give directions on how to navigate the site should be a big clue that it needs to be improved along with lower ratings for this version And the incessant update alerts You use that feature so often it is useless Save the update notifications for real news events        Old was better

I do not like the ONLY VERTICAL read on my iPad nor do I care for the videos When I read the news at 4 or 5 amI cannot play videos and wake everyone up The old version was more simple and easier to navigate But do not feel badly WOWT also ruined their app Their weather version is pitiful     I liked the old version better

I have been very disappointed with this new app I liked how easy it was to navigate different news articles with the older version I am 33 years old and have grown up with technology and I think this app is trying too hard to be cool and has lost its ability to provide a pain free user experience Furthermore I hate when there is an article I would like to read but instead of providing the article it is simply a video link Some people actually still prefer to read their news If this isnt the audience youre going after then I think that says something about your audience I also do not like being advertised to when I click to watch a video get your advertising dollars in by putting links that I can choose to click on not by forcing me to watch a 12 second advertisement     Poor App

Used to exclusively use this app for Omaha news Now I can only read 34 lines of the top stores at the moment Then it flips to sports and entertainment news Really I want to read the newsOmaha news Read the news not watch the broadcast Junk     Hate the new app

With all the news clips I can see online why would I want to watch a 30 sec ad before I can view the news clip on this app Any video ad over 20 seconds get a instant shut down from me     Video ads way to long

Dont use it anymore not user friendly     Marketing overload

One of my favorite easy to navigate apps has been turned into a complete mess Hard to navigate and the scrolling gets annoying Just go back to the old app with a new font or something Seriously That and request a refund from your web designer     What were you thinking

I am a loyal viewer of KETV News and if I am unable to catch the news broadcasts I rely on their online version I am really disappointed in the new app First of all I use my Ipad and I am unable to view this horizontally I have to hold my Ipad vertically and it is uncomfortable Secondly I do not like the ads that have been put within an article The whole thing in my opinion is not user friendly I wish I could go back to the old format     Disappointed

Classy company needs a classy app This version falls well short     Messy and confusing

The new app is very difficult to navigate and is sometimes confusing Also the weather is NEVER correct I once checked the apps weather section and an hour later the 5pm news and Matts forecast changed from no rain and warm on the app to rain and hot everyday in the live forecast I am very disappointed and will be removing the app unless some major changes happen in the next month And did I mention it keeps closing by its self after about 15 minuets of frustrated navigation to find what I want     Bring back the old app

Difficult to navigate Cant stand the sensationalistic strange national stuff You are not sure if the story relates to our area or if its just some weirdsadstrange occurrence somewhere else in the country I really dont appreciate the Don Henley Dirty Laundry news I come to this app in theory for local news not to find enquiererlike pieces happening in another part of the country This is an app for an iPhoneI have access to National news apps world news apps odd ball news apps get the point when I want local news weather sports traffic I would like to come to you and not have to filter through all the other garbage the stupid celebrity crap is the worst Stick to your speciality youre supposed to be news professionals I like what you offer on the television but your transition to new media is way below subpar What a waste I generously gave 2 stars only to support Bill Ranbys weather team the only thing of value on this app but even the sad radar is glitchy compared to the Weather Channel        Disappointing

I dont like having to turn my iPad to the vertical position to use this app I do almost everything horizontally and I cant with this app Plus I dont like how the weather is set up It takes more steps to get to what I want to know        Dont like it

Having to scroll through all the news articles is cumbersome I liked the old app that was more efficient and had more written articles than videos I cant always watch videos to get my news while at work Selection of the most newsworthy articles is also poor     Very unsatisfied

I wish Id never updated to the new app Hard to navigate and the interactive radar never works I hate this update and hardly ever use it anymore     Terrible upgrade

I loved the old app and checked news and weather on it several times a day like a junkie It was my go to I preferred it to the other local apps by a long shot I liked the way the news was set up with categories news local national entertainment and irresistible The story headlines were easy to read and stories were fairly concise Loved It Please see CNN app as it still is set up this way This new app I hate It wont spin from portrait to landscape for some reason the stories are all jumbled up and theres no content The weather section just makes me sad because there used to be so much more information there When the old app goes away completely I may not use the channel 7 app at all unless they change to something better than this     Loved the old app hate the new one
