It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 2.8 has been released on 2014-11-26. I ve been using Air Sketch for over three years now and it is hands down one of the best classroom tools out there Upload a PDF of my lecture with a lot or a little of info on each slide and write and draw for the whole class moving around the lecture hall as I do so Then I can save the annotated lecture notes and post them online as a study guide Who could ask for more                     Fantastic app KaFaraqGatri

Nothing else is as fast instant or responsive as this tool Everything else requires software or a service and they are choppy and slow This one is low fidelity and the UI is not as pretty but it is quick and dirty and easy to use likely because of those things I can draw fast and erase fast and move on fast I plan to have this open on my ipad while I screenshare using join me on my computer so I can draw with my stylus                     Fast effective The Truth. As an eLearning specialist I m always looking for new ways to engage my learners I recorded the audio separately but asked my subject matter expert to draw on an image as they explained a very technical medical process I was able to record them on the computer using adobe captivate you could use snag or some other recording software too It really helped keep the learner captured as the story of this boring process unfolded I highly recommend this tool The developer should market through theelearningguild many of my colleagues would get a lot of use out of this Thanks                     Untapped eLearning Tool Sssrose

Air Sketch allows a teacher or any presenter to walk around the classroom and wirelessly annotate their presentation in real time this is a big deal It is frankly amazing to me that Apple hasn t acquired this technology to roll out in Keynote The only issue is that the developer seems to have lost interest in making further improvements a big shame but Air Sketch is still valuable the way it is                     Air Sketch is almost there SeattleProf

The two recommendations for this app would be to fix the distortion when you enlarge the PDF and create a better folder that also lists the name of your saved items so you don t have to select the page to view what it is                 Great App Wifi-tied

This is app changed my iPad from a neat toy to a real instructional tool I can use this in classroom demonstrations or for screen casting with Mac software such as Jing The app does exactly what it says it does There are a few improvements I d like to see 1 Better scaling of PDFs this can currently be worked around via iBooks and screenshots 2 An option to escape the image selection screen for those times when I choose the wrong image This is fixable in class via the extensive undo abilities but my positioning of the wrong image does provide a momentary visual confusion to the students 3 The ability to add text boxes would be more efficient than the slower process of writing out words via zooming and panning don t get me wrong I love the zoom and pan It s just that text boxes would occasionally be more efficient 4 If the screen casting ability was built in that would be amazing Still the app is highly functional and well designed My students found it to be easy to learn as well They really enjoy writing on the whiteboard or projector screen from the comfort of their desk It has really improved participation in class                 Really works well for classroom use bhspdx

I have been using AirSketch for 1 5 years now and find it to be the best teaching tool I ve ever used I keep all of my slides as PDF stacks on Dropbox and open them in AirSketch for a class period I mark up the slides and have the ability to move around the classroom as much as I want The engineering students I teach are always impressed that one of their instructors is utilizing technology to deliver content Highly recommended                     Perfect for the Modern Professor MTBKit

I like the functionality of Air Sketch but the quality of the writing is poor Compared to something like Penultimate where the writing is smooth and fluid this is very jumpy and blocky even when using a decent stylus         Writing is clunky Pfhaz

I learned about this app from a colleague of mine who used it when making a presentation of his research in my graduate class I have just started to use it myself and find it to be a great tool for teaching I would highly recommend it If you are using PowerPoint you can make instant notes on your slides as they are bing projected to help your students focus on relevant aspects of the presentation Before Air Sketch I used to raise the screen where my powerpoint was being projected to go to the blackboard behind the screen and use chalk to explain specific points or expand on equations etc No need to do that anymore The white board is right there and you can switch to it from your powerpoint very easily to make additional notes for the students as questions come up during lecture This app is easy to use and tremendously helpful I have recommended it to all my colleagues who have iPads Thank you                     Excellent App Nayoli

When I pull a PDF in through Dropbox I can enlarge it on the iPad but this enlargement does not translate to the hosting computer When using this in a classroom setting the back row can t see the small print of the PDF Overall love the app hoping to resolve the PDF glitch                 PDF Math-4-All

This is simple to use and rich in features only things I can think of to add would be a straight line arrow line oval and rectangle tools Or maybe some default background options such as lined paper or graph paper And lastly a text tool for labels and captions                     Love it Gshular

This app works great I use it in my classroom to project photos of graphs and tables and to work together on examples I love that I can highlight a column in a table or circle a spot on the graph and the students love it too My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a typing option so that users could click a spot have the keyboard pop up and type in a textbox that could be edited for size and location                     Great App Inglewyn

I just used this for the first time today Export a PowerPoint as a PDF after redoing animations as separate slides and it loads perfectly My students were amazed It takes a little getting used to ex zoom in before writing or drawing and it s much more forgiving This seems like a tool every presenter should have                     Great app Mwakkol
